Edwin Monzon is an experienced makeup artist and industry professional based in the Greater Los Angele area. He is currently seeking both freelance and permanent job opportunities geared towards makeup artistry and design.  

With extensive makeup experience in theatre, film, and music videos, Edwin brings an unparalleled level of creativity and aptitude to each of his positions. His innovative techniques paired with the upmost level of professionalism consistently produce proven, flawless results. 

Having worked as a Makeup Artist for major international events such as the Grammys, Emmys, NAACP Image Awards, and the Golden Globes, Edwin is familiar with and prepared for the demands and nuances of the industry. He works efficiently without comprising detail, precision, or accuracy. He is remarkably ingenious and proficient at working with a diversified collection of clients in a fast-paced environment.

Within the film and digital sector, Edwin held the position of Makeup Artist for clients on Downton Abbey/ Vogue (Go Team Entertainment) and Hollywood (Los Angeles Motion Picture Company). He was the Makeup Head on Eastsiders (Go Team Entertainment), Rambo – But Gay! (Nerdist), Diversifying the Classics (CBS), and The Night Crew (CBS). Additionally, he worked with the SFX Crew on Ayden and Stork (X). 

Notably, Edwin's makeup and design experience in the music video production sector is equally considerable.  A few brief examples include: People at War featuring Bush; This is My Home featuring Journey to the East; Everyday is Christmas featuring Alaska Thunderf**k; Glamasaurus and Buy My T-Shirt featuring Manila Luzon; and DTF featuring Adore Delano.

He worked for some the world's leading cosmetic companies, including MAC Cosmetics, Estée Lauder, and Bobbi Brown. Importantly, he held the position of Business Manager at both Hourglass and Christian Dior. His management skills in conjunction with his makeup artistry position him as the ideal candidate for any relevant opportunities.
